In the work the economic model of a man, called "homo economicus", is formed in order to research man's behaviour in economic sphere. Goal of the work - is to research the possibility of formalization of economic subjects' behaviour description. To achieve this goal the next are presented and solved in the work: survey and cirtical analysis of different conceptual approaches to modelling of socio-economic subjects, processes and systems is accomplished; resarch of theoretical basements of man's economic behavior modelling is done; survey of ways of systems modelling description and of instrumental means of their modelling is realized; analysis of the problem of model assessment and of formalization of the possibilities of economic subjects' behaviour description is undertaken. Methods of research - system approach and mathematic modelling tools. The basic hypothesis, used in economic theory to make analysis of the behaviour of " homo economicus" were considered on the basis of REMM model. Research work of behavioural prerequisites was conducted in two directions: rationality in economic subjects' behaviour and the principle of following of ones own interests in man's economic model. In the frameworks of research of theoretic-philosophical aspects of socio-economic objects modelling, the comparison of the possibilities and peculiarities of different methods of modelling was conducted and the main ideas of modern system thinking were considered, in particular, the basic ideas of system- thinking - activity methodology and soft systems methodology; the ways of systems modelling description were systematized and problems of models verification and validation were discussed. Within the survey of methods and tools of modelling the main attention is devoted to system dynamic approach, which advantages and possibilities are considered in detail together with the corresponding software.
