Karazin popup.description2 For Q2237+0305 gravitational lens, the time delays between the quasar brightness variations seen in the lensed images were measured for the first time from observations. The 68% confidence intervals for the B, C and D components with respect to A do not exceed 3 days. This is a very important result, since the existing theoretic estimates have great divergence. Numerical simulation was also fulfilled for the system, which demonstrated that the statistical dependence between the brightness and color variations, revealed from our observations of 1995-2000 can be interpreted by microlensings of a quasar consisting of a compact central source surrounded by an extended outer feature. The estimate of the central source size, - cm, - and of the relative energy contributions of the extended feature in V, R and I spectral bands were taken. For the Q0957+561 system, additional processing of the observing data taken in the framework of the QuOC campaign in 2000-2001 was undertaken with the aim to search for events of microlensing. Such events, with the time scale of hours, have been found for the A and B components with the use of the most precise time delay estimate obtained by the QuOC program. The estimates are claimed to be statistically significant for at least two nights. Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
