The purpose of work: research of a real condition and the comparative analysis of quality life the population of the postSoviet countries. Methods of research: questionnaire, the analysis of the statistical data, the secondary analysis of the sociological information.The analysis of scientific publications, the secondary analysis of the sociological data of the international comparative research project "Living conditions, Llifestyles and Health", the former USSR realized in 8 countries in 2001-2003 is carried out (spent). At support of the European Union and with participation of authors of the report, and also the analysis of the statistical data on problems of quality of life, a way of life, a social welfare of the population of eight postSoviet countries. Results of Science and Research work - theoretical and methodical work was lead with the purpose of the further improvement of theoretical and methodological bases of research and the conceptual sociological analysis of a problem of the postSoviet way and quality of a life. The analysis of scientific publications is lead, the statistical information on a theme of research on Ukraine and other postSoviet countries gathered, generalized and analyzed, the analysis, theoretical generalization and interpretation of empirical given sociological researches is lead; the special attention to such questions, as the postSoviet way of life has been focused: the Ukrainian features; the social responsibility of authority for qualitative parameters of a life the population, in particular, quality of a life of the population as the characteristic of socially responsible authority, overcoming of poverty in strategy of the social responsibility of authorities for quality of a life the population, are offered conclusions and offers concerning the decision of a problem. The characteristic of separate qualitative parameters of a life the population of the postSoviet societies (a level of safety of a life, social - еконичний a standard of living, political aspect of quality of a life, sports and quality of a life of the population of the postSoviet countries) is given. Results of Science and Research work may be used by development of directions of the social policy(politics) directed on increase of a level and quality of life of different layers of the population, at develop of methods of regulation of a standard of living of the population in conditions of a deepening of social differentiation, by optimization of legislative base of maintenance of vital standards and overcomings of poverty in these countries and so forth.The data received as a result of research, may be a basis of monitoring on problems of studying of quality of life of the population which has special value in connection with an estimation of efficiency of a social policy(politics) and social security, and also planning and development of the specialized social programs, by preparation of experts in sociology, the government, social work.
