The rise of efficiency of the use of circulating assets of enterprises (economy of the costs, acceleration of their circulating) by optimization of inventories is the purpose of this work. During conducting of this work the method of direct computation and analytical method for determination of norm of inventories were used. The basic tasks of work are realized in generalization of theoretical overview and practical experience of computation of current, transport, and preoperational inventories in natural and money quantities.
