Samples of bacterio-,phyto-and zooplankton, meio- and macrozoobenthos, macrophytobenthos, fish and parasites were collected during the series of expeditions to the sea and on the coast The extent of biological invasion of the alien species was estimated. The list of exotic aquatic species was complied, and role the alien species play in biological diversity of the examined ecosystems was assessed.
