Dependence of the consumption coefficient of metal on the length of parent tube. Acquired dependences allow to select an optimal length of a tube, at which material consumption will be minimal. Allocation of alteration costs with the help of calculated laboriousness coefficients allows to estimate prime cost more impartially. It is determined that cutting of tube with an OD up to 57 mm is economically feasible to practice on СЛП-8 cutter, and pipe size 57-83 mm - on pipe-cropping machines 91A11, 91A11M; it is determined that induction heating is more economical than gas one with relation to power intensity; production conterminous assortment of elbows is economically feasible to make on the press PA-1027.
