S., Registration Date 27-12-2005 Organization Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University popup.description2 The objects of investigation are newly synthesized and extracted from plants sources new bio-logical active substances and also substances which can be found in biological objects and can be used in medicine. Using a purposeful synthesis about 300 new derivatives heterocyclic compounds, 2,4-dioxoazolidin-3-carbonic acids, arylamides 5-arylidenrhodanin-3-dicarbonic acids and series of combinatorial library of heterocycles were synthesized. Pharmacological prescreening of synthe-sized compounds was carried out. The anticancer, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antitubercu-lar activities of some obtained compounds were established by means of biological screening. The contant of biological active substances which are present in such plants as Achilles L., Melilotus Mill., Artemisia L., Pastinaca L., Archagelica Hoffm., Laserpitium L., Cotinus Mill., Bidens L. was studied. Extracted phytosubstances have interferoninductive, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, cytoprotective and photoprotective action. Thecomposition and technology for new complex drugs with anti-inflammatory, antifungal, photosensibility action and also homeopathic drugs for treatment of pathology of coronary blood circulation were worked out. The structure of the synthesized compounds has been confirmed by physico-chemical methods (UV-, IR-spectra), their purity and identification was controlled by the polarography, photocolory-metry and chromatography.
