The purpose of the work is the production technology improvement of corundum castable and new corundum castables technology mastering of СКБГ-2, СКБГХ-2 grade for technical carbon production reactors. Methods of researches are chemical, petrographic, roentgenphase analyses of initial components, from which concrete mixes and castables are produced. Laboratory - technological researches towards the production technology mastering of new corundum castables of СКБГ-2 and СКБГХ-2 grades, as well as application opportunity researches of electrofused corundum, produced by LLC "Kazogneupor", for castables of СКБГ, СКБГХ, СКБГ-1, СКБГХ-1 grades, produced nowadays on the basis of electrofused corundum of in-house production, and intended for working layer lining of technical carbon production reactors, were carried out. Comparative researches of corundum castable strengthening properties of СКБГ, СКБГХ, СКБГ-1, СКБГХ-1 grades, produced on the basis of electrofused corundum by OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy" and LLC " Kazogneupor", depending on the duration of hydratable curing within 3, 7 and 28 day, and also on the basic properties factors of these castables depending on the firing temperature (1400, 1580, 1750°С) were fulfilled. The basic unburnt castables properties factors of the specified grades, as well as burnt at the above-stated temperatures are determined. As a result of the performed researches, ТУ У and amendment №1 to ТИ were developed and approved and the production technology in OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy" was mastered during the test batch output of new corundum concrete mix of СКБГ-2 and СКБГХ-2 grades, that was transferred to one of consumers for carrying out industrial tests in service in reactors lining of technical carbon production.In OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy" according to ТИ with amendment №1, the test batches of corundum concrete mix of СКБГ, СКБГХ, СКБГ-2, СКБГХ-2 grades were released, which according to properties factors correspond to requirements of ТУ У 14-7-168-2000 from amendment №1 ТУ У 26.2-00190503-278:2005, and were transferred to consumers, in the specified amount, for lining performance of reactors working layer of technical carbon production. To continue the work towards further production technology improvement of corundum concrete mixes for technical carbon production reactors; production volumes expansions of manufacture in OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy" of СКБГ-1, СКБГХ-1, СКБГ 2, СКБГХ-2 grade lowcement concrete mixes, as well as their introduction expansion in lining working layer of technical carbon production reactors .
