Methods of research - chemical, petrographic, roentgen-phase analyses, determination methods of physico-mechanical properties factors of laboratory samples and refractory products. In order to develop the refractories production technology from fused monoclinic zirconia, comparative researches of optimal, according to results of early-performed investigations, complex addition influences were carried out, containing 3% SiO2 + 3% Al2O3 (in the form of zircon and alumina of ГК grade) and complex addition 3% SiO2 + 3% Al2O3 (in the form of kaolin, or clay and alumina of ГК grade) on the main properties factors of samples from monoclinic zirconia. It is established, that complex addition use in the form of kaolin and alumina allows to obtain laboratory samples with properties combination, the most close to properties of samples with zircon and alumina addition: crushing strength is 123,3 N/mm3 thermal stability - 4 heat turns (in the regime 1300 C - air), open porosity - 13%. The product production technology from polyvinylglycerin-bonded fused monoclinic zirconia with the use of complex addition, consisting of natural grain zircon and alumina of ГК grade, was introduced. The use of the specified addition allowed to increase products quality factor: open porosity not more than 20,0% in comparison with 22,0 - 24,0% in earlier produced products with complex addition, including quartz, was achieved. The trial lots of products in the form of sector and plate from zirconia, stabilized by calcia, were put out. To continue the work towards further production technology improvement of refractories on the basis of monoclinic zirconia with kaolin and alumina addition, as well as towards glass attack resistance investigation and introduction of received products.
