S. Berezhnoy". Methods of researches - chemical, petrographic, physicomechanical, thermalphysic and thermomechanical.The influence of andalusite addition amount of "Damrec" grade on mullite concrete mix properties is investigated. The expediency of andalusite addition application, in composition of mullite low cement concrete mix, of two fractions of 1-0 mm and KA-0,16 mm in total amount of 20 mass % instead of electrofused corundum is established, that provides service characteristics improvement of concrete mix (increase of thermal stability, decrease of thermal conductivity and thermal expansion coefficient).The influence of breakages addition amount of mullite-corundum and corundum refractories with zircon addition onproperties of low cement mullite and mullite-corundum concrete mixes is investigated. The breakages application ability of mullite-corundum and corundum refractories with zircon addition of various fractions in mullite concrete mix composition in amount of 20 mass %, and in mullite-corundum concrete mix composition in amount of 30 mass % is shown (in both cases in exchange of electrofused corundum without degradation of properties parameters). The obtained results allow to expand the raw-material base by concrete mixes production.In conditions of OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A. S. Berezhnoy" the production of earlier developed compositions is mastered: low cement concrete mixes - of СШНЦБ chamotte grade and СМКНЦБ mullite-corundum grade, that provided the expansion of a raw-material base.In accordance with acting normative documentation on Test production of OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A. S. Berezhnoy", test batches of alumina-silica low cement concrete mixes were delivered.The work should be continued towards further improvement of alumina-silica low cement concrete mixes technology production and expansion of their application ranges.
