The purpose of the work is the production technology reprocessing and mastering of developed dry corundumspinel mix in the conditions of OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A. S. Berezhnoy". Methods of researches are chemical, petrographic, physicomechanical and thermomechanical. The influence of reactive alumina spinel of СТС-55 grade and chemical binders (boric acid, sodium tripolyphosphate and boronphosphate binder) on properties of dry corundumspinel mix is investigated. As a result of researches, the introduction expediency of reactive alumina spinel addition of СТС 55 (6-8 mas. %) grade into corundumspinel mix composition, used for induction crucible furnace lining with metal melting temperature 1650°С, and complex boronphosphate binder addition into corundumspinel mix composition, used for induction crucible furnace lining with metal melting temperature 1450 - 1550°С, is established. The addition of specified materials into dry corundumspinel mix composition allows to increase the compression strength of samples from it by 1,5-2,0, to decrease the open porosity ~ by 1,1 without stability reduction to slag melts effect.In the conditions of OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A. S. Berezhnoy", the production technology of dry corundumspinel mix of advanced composition, containing reactive alumina spinel of СТС-55 grade, or boronphosphate binder, are mastered. On the test production of OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A. S. Berezhnoy", according to existing normative documentation, the test batches of dry mixes of СК, СКШ, СКШБФ grades, intended for induction furnaces lining, were released.The work should be continued towards the application opportunity establishment of normal corundum and aluminamagnesia spinel of various manufacturers in dry mixes composition.
