The purpose of the work is the ability establishment of surface-active materials application in mullite-corundum mortar production. Methods of research - chemical, petrographic and thermomechanical analysis methods.The influence of surface-active materials additives on mullite-corundum mortar properties of ММК-85-1 grade is investigated. As a result of researches, the application ability of surface-active materials (oleic acid in amount of 0,1 % or organic-silicon liquids ГКЖ-11К in amount of 0,02 %) during vibrodisintegration of electrofused corundum, that is the fundamental component of mullite-corundum mortar, of ММК-85-1 grade is established. It is shown, that introduction of surface-active materials during corundum vibrodisintegration reduces the time of its grinding approximately by 20 minutes. It is established, that during mortar solutions preparation, containing vibrodisintegrated corundum in the surface-active materials presence,their humidity reduces by 4 %. The aqueous solution density of phosphoric acid (1,216 g/sm3) is determined, introduction of which in dry mortar composition in amount of 29 % provides mortar solution production with high service properties. Amendment № 1 to technological instruction ТИ 24-ИО-115-2004 on mullite-corundum mortar production is developed, providing the application ability of surface-active materials during vibrodisintegration of electrofused corundum. In accordance with НД requirements on Test production of OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A. S. Berezhnoy", mullite-corundum mortar production of ММК-85-1 grade based on electrofused corundum, vibro disintegrated with surface-active materials addition, is mastered and the test batch is delivered. Recommendations are given to the consumer according mortar solution preparation with reduced humidity of mullite-corundum mortar application of ММК-85-1 grade, produced according to improved technology. To continue the work towards the further technological development of mullite-corundum mortar, using breakage or scrap of refractory materials.
