The purpose of the work is - perfection of mullitecorundum concrete mix composition for thermal aggregates and output of pilot batches. Methods of researches are thermal- and physical-mechanical, chemical and petrographic. Laboratory researches on revision of the production technology of mullitecorundum concrete mix in the direction of castable receipt with lower thermal conductivity while service properties preservation are executed. The influence of hexacalciumaluminate additives of light-weight crumb of ГАКЛ 1,3 grade on properties of mullitecorundum castable is established. It is determined, that hexacalciumaluminate additives of light-weight crumb provide decrease of thermal conductivity factor by 1,27 Wt / (m К). The influence of hexacalciumaluminate additives of light-weight crumb of ЗШЛ-0,4 grade is studied. It is established, that the 5 % addition of light-weight crumb of ЗШЛ-0,4 grade allows to receive refractory castable withthermal conductivity of 1,08 Wt / (м-К) while preservation of high enough strength factors. The optimal composition of mullitecorundum mix is determined, the trial piece of castable is produced, its properties are determined. It is established, that the given properties correspond to requirements of acting ТУ У 26.6-00109503-236-2003. To continue the work towards perfection of production technology of mullitecorundum concrete mix and its industrial tests in thermal aggregates, as well as enlargement of application range.
