The purpose of the work - the technology improvement of unburnt magnesiachromite and chromitemagnesia refractories with the use of scrap for magnesia products. Methods of research - chemical analysis, structure-phase researches, physic mechanical tests. Laboratory-technological researches on selection of charge composition, binder, drying regime of magnesiachromite and chromitemagnesia unburned samples with the use of scrap for magnesia refractories are carried out. Properties factors of the obtained samples of optimal composition after drying are: magnesiachromite - open porosity 7,0-7,3 %; crushing strength 71,2-63,6 Н/mm2; chromitemagnesia - open porosity 6,3-8,7 %; crushing strength 45,2-49,6 Н/mm2, that essentially exceeds the requirements of ТУ У 322-7-00190503-069-96. According to technological developments of laboratory, trial lots of powders of magnesia composition are released. On the pilot productionof OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S.Berezhnoy" the trial lot of magnesia fire tubes with open porosity 21,4 % and apparent density 2,79 g / sm3 are put out. Concrete lining of 2 burner lids is produced.
