The composition of the binding formulation with the purpose of decrease of carbon content below 5 % and improvement of operating properties of magnesialimecarbon refractories is finished off. The composition of the charge is corrected and samples of the industrial format with crushing strength - 185,0 Н/mm2, three-point bending strength - 41,2 Н/mm2, open porosity - 4,1 % and apparent density - 2,93 g/sm3 are obtained. The temporal technological instruction for trial lots output of magnesialimecarbon refractories in conditions of pilot production of OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S.Berezhnoy" is developed. Developed refractories are intended for application in elements of metallurgical sets lining while smelting of high-alloy and pure grades of steels.
