Subject of Development: Novel methods and algorithms for the computer modeling of topography and hydrology in the natural and anthropogenic areas of the erosional impact. Research Goal on the second stage: Algorithmic optimization of the surface runoff through a Digital Elevation model; approbation of the erosion process model and the model of the surface runoff routed. Improvement of the modelling tools implemented in OS MS-DOS. The watershed geoinformation model determined and built.Research and Development Methods: Geoinformation modeling approaches, methods and tools; Microsoft Visual C++ and MapBasic 6.5 development methods. Development results on the second stage: These results have stayed in the choice of adequate models and modeling environments; newly algorithms of erosion processes have been elaborated and presented in the MS-DOS modeling tools for PC; first examples of the Graphic User Interface for OS MS Windows.Theoretical and applied conclusions made in the second report concern to: 1) modeling criteria; 2) contents of runoff algorithms and erosion models; 3) approbation of models and algorithms; 4) characterization of the watershed information model.
