Are exposed and explored factors of durability and recovered of ore-coal briquettes, on the basis of which the selection of rational component composition of briquettes, satisfying to the produced requirements on mechanical durability and degree of metallization, is carried out. Metallurgical properties of briquettes are explored, including razmyagchaemost, usadka, recovered and thermal durability. Two basic charts of the use of briquettes are considered: directly in a martin stove and with preliminary metallization of briquettes on three variants: in a conveyer stove, modernized aglomashine and mine stove. The laboratory melting which the degree of the metallization 92-96 % is attained on are conducted.
