In order to increase the efficiency of agitating liquor in the bath of the saturator it was proposed to execute the agitator as five jet pumps with cylindrical chambers of mixing. Precise parameters and recommendations are offered with regard to erection of a new agitator in the saturator bath. Measures were developed for improvement of gas-dynamic characteristics of the saturator under the conditions of intensive salt formation. A mathematical model of the interwashing cycle of the saturator was developed with consideration of the use of regenerated acid, which permits one to estimate with a certain degree of approximation the quantitative relationship of the entire group of the saturation process in the stages of washing the saturator.
