This work examines the variation of coal blend density depending on its moisture and crushing. The following relationships were found: a decrease of the size faction 1-0 mm reduce a negative effect of bulk density decrease; a moisture increase results in decreasing its bulk density. On the basis of the relationships found an empiric equation was derived describing the variations of bulk density of the blend coking chamber depending on its crushing, moisture and the height of coking chamber, was got. For calculation of the algorithm of variations of bulk density of coal, blend a computer program was developed which allows on the basis of actual data, to obtain particular mathematical relationships for the influence of various factors on the index of bulk density.
