It allowed producing coke with the improved reactivity and the same coke quality by other indices. The prepared and held pilot coking tests resulted in the conclusion that the improved reactivity allowed improving coke considerably: ash went down by 0,6%, sulphur was decreased by 0,2%, mechanical strength was improved. The experimental blast-furnace fusion tests at OJSC MK "Azovstal'" with the use of improved reactivity coke allowed to increase the productivity of blast furnace by 10,5%.
