On the basis of the results of the conducted research the quality characteristics of coal concentrates of Ukraine are presented individually for each washery. Indices of vitrinita reflection liberation of volatiles and thickness of the plastic layer were calculate on the basis of the existing on coal quality data base from the mines included in the raw material base of every washery. Recommendations were worked out on forming the raw material base of washeries and prediction of its quality indices standard technical documentation on grade assignment and coal quality was agreed and examined.
