As a result of the conducted analysis the list of priority indices of quality for foundry coke size 80 mm and more was established. A technical specification draft TU 23.1-00190443-031:2002 "Foundry coke size 80 mm and more", which specifies the standards and requirements for the following quality indices on the request of the AOZT "Kharkov Coke Works" and consumers of the product: ash content, weight fraction of total sulphur and total moisture, the yield of volatile matter, indices of mechanical strength M40 and M10, weight fraction of lumps in the product below the low limit (less than 70 mm, less than 80 mm, less than 100 mm, less than 120 mm) and lumps less than 40 mm. After approval by the Works of the draft TUU "Foundry coke size 80 mm and more" the specifications will be sent for examination to the Health Ministry of Ukraine and to the users of foundry coke.
