For the recommendations qualitative and quantitative characteristics of wastes for different sources were determined by instrumental and calculation methods. The calculation methods were used, mainly, for the determination of characteristics for the non-organized wastes, which are based on specific values, balance schemes, physical and chemical process trends. The developed method establishes order for determination and calculation of wastes at the coke production, catching and processing of by-products at the coke plants of Ukraine. It determines tasks for the inventory, namely, accounting all sources of wastes constantly or temporally used and wastes formed at all technological processes at production.
