Head Venger Vilen, Registration Date 21-11-2006 Organization Odessa state medical university popup.description2 The goal of our investigation was to study the efficacy of treatment of deformities of joints of the forefoot (including hallux-valgus) worked up in the department of traumatology and orthopaedics. The subject was 65 patients both gender age 35-54 yrs. Methods of investigation: clinical, X-ray imaging, podography (visual valuation trasversal arch of the foot), statistic. During X-ray imaging study we calculated the degree of I-rst metatarso-phalangeal angle and intermetatarsal (I-II) angle. Preoperation treatment consisted of special kinesotherapy. We used our surgical technique and stable fixation with pins. Postoperative treatment consisted of removing plaster cast, continuing of kinesotherapy, use of impuls magnetic fields.
