Gorky popup.description2 OBJECT OF RESEARCH: we have investigated a total of 194 cases of gastric carcinoma with standard and histochemical stains, 69 of them are intestinal type, 95 cases are diffuse type, and 30 cases mixed type. GOALS: to find morphological features of different types of gastric carcinoma at different stages of it development. RESULTS: we have found tissue, cellular and functional heterogeneity in different types of gastric carcinoma, difference in gross forms and dependence of gross form on tissue, cellular and functional differentiation, and also on stroma volume. The extent of stromatogenesis is also dependent on morphological and functional differentiation of tumor cells and affect tumor invasion. DISCOVERY: there have been found direction and significance of affect of investigated morphological features on tumor invasion.
