It is shown, that addition of tiourea in dyeing compound in concentration of 1 g/l or in compound for printing in amount of 1 g/kg gives 17-25 % increase of a degree of dyes fixing, depending on a chemical structure of dye. The mechanism of intensifying influence of a weak restorer is determined and it is shown, that it has no connection with the influence of tiourea on a fibre surface condition, like when dyeing dy other classes of dyes, and it is based on increase of oxidizing-restoring potential of rongalit C at presence of tiourea and rate of rongalit decomposition.
