From the data of the European group on gas pipelines integrity only to the soil movement, as a reason of failure, belongs about 7% of pipes failures without flaws, whereas the circumferential stresses are the reason of failure only for pipes containing defects. Within the framework of this project we are thoroughly concentrated on the analysis of longitudinal stresses, especially for the case of the large displacements when a pipeline is characterized as both a flexible filament and a beam.
