The pipes were made of 76 x 6mm and 114 x 9mm sizes of 06kh1-U steele grade of a corrected chemical composition. It was established that as for a complex of quality characteristics and properties, the pipes were completely corresponding to the requirements of serial TS and had no analogues in Ukraine being competitive at the domestic and foreign markets. Changes No.1 have been worked out for serial TS for the pipe skelp and tubes concerning the correction of chemical composition of 06Kh1-U cteel grade, increasing the requirements to the strength properties and inclusion of requirements to H2S resistance that will allow to extend the field of application of such pipes to their use in the high pressure pipe lines and in H2S media.
