The mathematical model was developed for viskometric and dilatometry indices, as well as swelling and Rog indices (SI and RI), thickness of plastic layer and plastometry shrinkage. That will allow to adapt DSTU 3472-96 "Coals brown, hard and anthracite. Classification" to the Intergovernmental standard GOST 3031395 "Hard coals and anthracite. Codification". Recommendations were given to use modern methods of petrography, viscosimetry and dilatometry for the property estimation of Ukrainian and import coals as well as the recommendations by optimum indices for blend properties which can provide the high qualitycoke.
