The technique of the investigation - methods of medical informatics, descriptive epidemiology, systems and component analysis. The distributions of population of male rural population of Ukraine, the distribution of its cancer incidence by age and dynamic models of the most frequent cancers in 1969-2005 have been studied. The analysis of medical and geographical features of cancer prevalence in male rural population of Ukraine has been carried out.The study of dynamics of cancer incidence in male rural population of Ukraine has revealed the growth of cancer incidence from 191,0 in 1969 to 364,0 per 100000 of population in 2004, provided that average annual rate decreased from3,6 % to 2,0 %. It was determined that cancer incidence increased in all nosologic groups, with the most high rate of annual increase of cancer of urogenital system (14,2 %) and thyroid (10,0 %). The programs of data quality check have been developed and approved in frames of technology of National cancer registry, that allows improving of quality of the data registered.
