The purpose of the work - the production technology development of powders from zirconia, stabilized by Y2O3 for plasma spraying of 63-40 µm fractions. With the application of chemical, petrographic, roentgenophase analyses and according to the fluidity determination procedure, raw materials and powders for insulating coatings from zirconia, stabilized by Y2O3 and CaO, are investigated as well as phisico-chemical properties factors of investigated powders are determined. As a result of carried uot researches, the powder production technology for plasma spraying from zirconia, stabilized by Y2O3 of ca. 10%, 63-40 µm fractions for insulating coatings performance is developed, the trial lot of powders is produced. On the test production of the institute the powders trial lots from zirconia, stabilized by CaO, are produced. To continue the work towards further technology improvement of powders technology forplasma spraying from zirconia, stabilized by CaO and Y2O3 as well as introduction volumes his enlargement of customers.
