The purpose of the work - technology improvement of anorthite light-weight products.Methods of researches - chemical, petrographic, physical mechanical. Researches of amount influence of alumina and andalusite additives on properties of anorthite light-weight samples are carried out. It is established, that at introduction of alumina additive in amount of 10 % into masses, the receipt of light-weight product with apparent density of ~ 0,9 g/cm3 and high strength of 13,0 МPа is possible. Alumina introduction in quantity of 5 % is optimal for receipt of products with apparent density of ~ 0,8 g/cm3, cold crushing strength of 3,2 МPа, that according to properties corresponds to АЛ-0,8 grade. The opportunity of replacement of disthensillimanite concentrate into andalusite is established, thus cold crushing strength of samples amounts 4,3 (4,9) МPа at apparent density of ~ 0,8 g/cm3. It will allow to expand a raw-material base at production of anorthite light-weight products. The influence of combined calcium containing component on properties of anorthite light-weight samples is investigated. The opportunity of the complete replacement of the main calcium containing component into another is established, therefore samples with apparent density of 1,0-1,1 g/cm3 and cold crushing strength of ~5, 0 МPа are obtained, that will allow to expand a raw-material base at production of anorthite light-weight products of АЛ-1,0 grade. According to contracts, trial lots of heat-insulating filler from anorthite light-weight product of АЛ-0,8 grade and chamotte protective sleeves for gas-tube boilers are produced. Properties of trial products meet the requirements of technical specifications and contracts. Products are transferred to customers for use in production conditions. To continue the work towards anorthite light-weight products technology revision, enlargement of application areas of anorthite light-weight products with apparent density of less than g/cm3.
