The subject of investigation - heat-insulating castables on microporous light-weight anorthite and calcium hexaluminate fillers. Methods of research - chemical, petrographic, physical-mechanic, thermal physical. Researches on technology revision of heat-insulating castables with apparent density up to 1,3 g/сm3 on microporous anorthite filler are carried out. The conclusion is made, that moulding method essentially influences the strength of heat-insulating concrete products. As a result of researches, anorthite light-weight unfired products with apparent density not more than 1,3 1,3 g/сm3 with strength up to 5,5 MPa by means of tamping rod, up to 7 MPa by compacting method and up to 10 MPa by means of vibroforming are received. The technology of heat-insulating castable on microporous anorthite filler is mastered on pilot production of the institute.Researches on technology revision of heat-insulating castables on microporous calcium hexaluminate filler with apparent density not more than 2,0 g/cm3 are carried out. Properties dependence of light-weight castables on fractional composition of calcium hexaluminate filler is investigated and heat-insulating castable with apparent density of 1,99 g/cm3 after 3 day wet curing and cold crushing strength of 20,9 MPA, with apparent density of 1,83 g/cm3 after firing at 1000 °С and strength of 12,5 MPa, with thermal conductivity of 0,73 W/(m·K) at average temperature of 600 °С and service temperature of 1500 °С is received. Properties dependences of calcium aluminate cements on mineral phases ratio received by various methods are investigated. It is shown, that cement calcium monoaluminate composition with the additive of alumina provides minimum change of strength in the interval from 110 up to 1400 °С. According to contracts with enterprises of Ukraine within the framework of work trial lots of heat-insulating concrete mixes of САНБТ-1,3 grade, unfired heat-insulating products in the form of a brick and crucibles, high-alumina cement of ВГЦ-73 and ВГЦШ-60 grades are put out. Fabricated products meet the requirements of technical specifications TS S and transferred to customers in full volume. The work is to be continued towards application enlargement of anorthite light-weight castables with apparent density of 1,3 g/cm3, technology improvement of heat-insulating castables on calcium hexaluminate light-weight filler, introduction of their production and application.
