The purpose of investigation - technology mastering of magnesialimecarbon refractories and an output of trial lot. Methods of investigation: chemical analysis, petrographic researches. Samples of magnesialimecarbon refractories are fabricated and their testings on metal resistance are carried out. Thus samples showed satisfactory durability to melts of two steel grades - 20Х13 and 12Х18Н10Т (power of working zone attained up to 5 mm). At trial lot output during heat treatment of products, hydration of dolomite occurred, therefore refractories lost their strength and their further use was impossible.
