The action of preparation is well-proven on the improvement of blood flow in the eyes of the experimental animals at the different ways of introduction: intravenous, parabulbar injections and fractional instillations into the eye. Preliminary clinical observations showed an absence of local and general side-effects after the intravenous injections of Corvitin to the patients with glaucoma. The positive effect of the preparation is marked on the common feel of patients. In patients with initial stage of the disease there was a tendency to the improvement of vision after five injections of the preparation. The results of the experimental researches and the preliminary clinical observation showed possibility and expedience of Corvitin application for treatment of patients with open-angle glaucoma.
