Karazin popup.description2 Wistar male rats of 3- and 24-month old, which were exposed to stress or hormonal influences (palmitic acid, thyroxin, insulin and melatonin) and animals treated by ?-tocopherol, fish oil or beef oil, and isolated hepatocytes, liver, kidney, diaphragm, cortex and hippocampus, exposed to influence of quercetin, ?- tocopherol, insulin and thyroxin were the objects of the research. Spectrophotometric, radioisotope, electro-physiological and chromatographic methods were used in the work. It is established that in the investigated senescent tissues take place reorganization of metabolism. The most changes of content of investigated lipids were observed in hippocampus and kidney. The most essential changes at senescence occurred in the metabolism of phosphatidyletanolamine. The indicated age changes of exchange of alarm lipids can be the reason of violation of sensitiveness of cells to action of regulator stimuli. Fish oil, ?- tocopherol and quercetin corrected the metabolism of lipids of old rats, especially in cerebrum, and induce the adaptive lipids alterations directed on the improvement of the functional state of tissues, while the saturated fat acids of beef fat are able to strengthen age violations of maintenance and metabolism of lipids in the studied tissues of old animals. In the isolated hepatocytes of young rats palmitic acid induces violations of metabolism of sphingolipids typical for the senescence. It is established also, that administration of melatonin to the old rats activated the hypothalamic mechanisms of selfstimulation of brain of these animals and facilitates implementation of instrumental conditional-reflex positive emotional conduct of these animals.
