Karazin popup.description2 Object of the research - surface waves at the harmonics of cyclotron frequencies, which are characterized by TM polarization and propagate across an external magnetic field oriented perpendicularly to the plasma interface.Aim of the research - carrying out theoretical study dispersion of the surface E - waves propagating at harmonics of cyclotron frequencies including calculations of their damping rates in non-uniform structures that are consistent of plasma-dielectric-metal under the condition of application of an external magnetic field oriented perpendicularly to the plasma interface. Methods applied at the research are as follows - theoretical analysis and numerical modeling of the problem using computers. Theoretical model of the eigen electromagnetic waves at the harmonics of electron and ion cyclotron which have TM polarization propagating in waveguide structures that are consistent of plasma and metallic wall separated from each other by dielectric layer with finite sizes and definite value ofdielectric constant is constructed. Doing that an external magnetic field is considered to be oriented perpendicularly to the plasma interface. Such orientation of the magnetic field is typical for instance for chambers of magnetron discharge systems where can be suitable conditions for sustaining gas discharges by the aid of eigen surface waves propagation. Influence of non-uniformity of the plasma density profile on dispersion of the surface cyclotron E - waves is studied and possibility to apply their propagation in the mentioned above waveguide structures for elaboration effective plasma sources is proved.
