In work is stated that electro- and thermo conductivities of the pure hafnium at high temperatures are deviate downwards from usual temperature dependency up to the most high from explored temperature. Both these particularities can be conditioned by the form of density of electronic states curve near the Fermi level at the presence of s-d scattering. The large value of the Lorenz number at high temperatures, as compared with Summerfield one, can be connect with this circumstance. The saturation by hydrogen leads to the formation of the hydride HfH2-x with the face-centered cubic structure. It is not found the traces of solid solution of hydrogen in hafnium near the room temperatures. The increasing of hydrogen content lead to the growing of the hydride crystalline lattice period, that corresponds to the reduction of x value. The resistivity dependence from charge, passed through electrolyte, is nonmonotonic, that testifies the forming of intermediate phases in saturation process. The Branch: Solid State Physics.
