The spectral composition of the emitted light, the dependences of lines the intensity on distance from target surface allowed to get information on the processes of particle sputtering and their formation in different excited states. The dependences of yields of knocked-out excited atoms and ions on the Ar+ ion fluency were studied. The analyses of obtained results allowed us to make conclusion the during prolonged ion bombardment the modification of surface layer in composition and electronic structure of spinal crystals take place which causes the change of yield of sputtered atoms and ions in some excited states.
