Analysis of workpieces' quality has shown that a quality of slabs' surface with a new form is 2.5 times higher. For a macrostructure of slabs with rounded edges is typically the absence of angular liquation strips. Study of a state of a new crystallizer has shown that the actual wear of its working space is 2.0-2.5 times less than the existing one.
