The analysis of results has shown that the fettle level after mesh cracks in slabs with a new form has decreased 1.87 times and after nonmetallic inclusions in 1.16 times. Analysis of a crystallizer state after 77 smelts has shown that the maximal wear of a working surface does not exceed 0.4 mm. It's 6.5-7.5 times lower than in ordinary crystallizer and in 3.0-3.5 times lower than in the existing crystallizer equipped with wear-proof inserts.
