The objects studied as components for oiling charge at the JSC "Severstal'" were organic additives "emulsion", i.e. chemical wastes, oil waste and kerosene and their influence on the density of the coal charge and the output of bulk and blast-furnace coke as well as the indices of its quality. It was found that the yield of coke from the oiled compacted charge is higher due to more difficult release of gaseous products of coking. The maximal bulk density of coal charge reached by the addition of kerosene and "emulsions". The bulk density of coal charge increases by 5- 8%, that provides an increase of the charge in a of coking a chamber. Recommendation were developed necessary amount of the organic additives and conditions of introduction in to the coal charge, what provided arational level of the charge in the coking chambers of depending on their technical state and conditions of battery operation.
