A scheme was proposed for removing sulphur from gas which is discharged into the atmosphere after a power plant, and its technological calculation was done. New designs by-product of coke ovens were proposed by Giprokoks and UKHIN, which have substantial advantages over known units in terms of the raw materials, hydraulic resistance of the heating system, heat efficiency and compactness of location.
