This is a module of 32 wide coke ovens of the capacity 0.2m try of bulk coke of 6 %- to moisture. Two variants of coal blends were developed. The first is based on typical Ukrainian coal and enables to obtain coke for blast furnaces which do not use a pulverized fuel. The second variant consists of low sulphur coal with a low index of basic its of the mineral part that enables to obtain coke of improved quality for use in blast furnaces simultaneously with PCI. With the purpose of expansion of the raw material base of coking and improvement of technical-and economic indices of production the it was proposed to compact coal charge before coking by stamping. From the ecological point of the view coke technology without recovery of by-products enables to reduce the specific contaminating emissions in the environment by 30-40 % by compared to traditional technology.
