The pump has been developed on the basis of pump СКО 50-25, serially produced by JSC "VNIIAEN". Constructional diagram of the pump disc impeller DISCFLO 2015-8-2HHD was chosen as a model of the impeller construction. The impeller has a constant distance between the discs from inlet to outlet. The pump КНВ 30-50 characteristic had been obtained by a design method beforehand. The pump СКО 50-25 flow part had been chosen as a model flow part for this pump with its open-type impeller being replaced with a newly designed closed-type impeller with radial blades.
