To reduce the losses of ammonia it is recommended to optimize the hydraulic conditions and acid feed to the bubbling area of the saturator. The technical concepts were developed, which are aimed at two-stage cooling of gas and spraying heat exchange in typical primary coolers., and also the method of technological calculation and preliminary solution was developed units typical coolers, necessary for designing of the modernized unit for primary cooling of gas. Principe points were developed for organization of t new conditions of gas cooling in typical with a horizontal tube bundle. During primary cooling of gas there conditions allows the combination of two stages of cooling in a single unit. Introduction of new design of the agitator will provided a more substantial increase of the efficiency of operation of the sulfate division and will improve the quality of the product.
