Three types of nozzles for atomization of liquid metal have been tested. Optimal results have been obtained with use of the nozzle with energy carrier feed angle of 52° and rate of 12 l/s. Produced powder had size composition meeting customer's requirements: -160+100 micron - 37%; -100+50 micron - 48%; -50 micron - 15% and final density of 2.85 g/mm3.
