They can be used as the components of coupling compositions at glass fiber production as well as at its processing into glass-fiber products. PED-LP films are good soluble in styrene and are compatible with polyester resins. High surface efficiency and affinity with silicate surface provide the localization on it of given amount of radical-forming peroxide and other reactive fragments and as a result chemical binding of the filler with polymer matrix. The treatment of glass fiber with PED LP water compositions provides the increase of strength characteristics, transparency and corrosion resistance of glass-fiber materials.
