The following parameters have been identified: рН of water solutions, overall hardness of water solutions, salt content in water solutions, concentration of acids in water solutions (sulphuric, orthophosphoric, oxalic, nitrous, hydrochloric, mixture of nitrous and hydrochloric, and caustic soda), and overall activity of water solutions. R&D results will be used for upgrading the system for purifying and drying the cooling hydrogen in 200-300 MW power unit turbo generators.
