The structure and properties of steel 16X3MFL have been investigated after different modes of thermo cycling treatment. The integral estimation of steel's structure changes depending from modes of heat treatment has been executed. It was shown that the optimum set of strength, ductility and brittle fracture resistance has been obtained in the material with the structure of low bainite. The optimization of steel 16X3MFL heat treatment has been recommended as the cooling intensification from austenite area and thermo cycling applying.
